The outstanding co-operative Cave de Tain produces around half of Crozes-Hermitage, and has growers in every sector of the appellation. It now produces a series of five different sub-regional cuvées (three Terroirs d’Exception and two Sélections Parcellaires) that exhibit the diversity of the area.
For each unit of terroir in each appellation, often originating from old vines, growers and agronomists select the plots that were the most successful in the vintage. They are later passed on to winemakers to create a new selection of a given terroir. They have been certified sustainable since 2009.

2022 Crozes Hermitage Noble Rives
This Crozes-Hermitage red Nobles Rives is made with Syrah, mainly from alluvial terraces with rolled pebbles.
A delicious and supple wine, with aromas of red fruits with light notes of liquorice and spices. Food and wine pairings Its velvety tannins call for grilled red meats, roast poultry

2022 St Joseph Noble Rives
Produced again with Syrah but located in the northern part and right bank of the Cotes du Rhone.
Grapes are hand harvested and aged part in barrel and part in stainless steel to preserve the purity of the fruit.
Full palate wine with silky tannins and aromas of black fruit and graphite.
The palate is warm and enhanced by the tension of the granite soils.
2021 Cornas Noble Rives
The Cornas wine region is located in the communes of Cornas, just south of Lyon. It's one of the smallest appellations in the Rhône and exclusively produces red wines from Syrah.
Ageing for 17 months in french barrique (15%) and 400L barrels.
Deep red colour with purple reflections. Aromas of ripe black fruits and liquorice. In the mouth it is ample with tannins present but with a beautiful finesse. Notes of fruit in alcohol and spices. To be enjoyed with game, red meats and cheeses.
