The Mitolo Jester Shiraz delivers bold flavours of blood plum, dark cherry, and blackberry, supported by smooth tannins and a medium body. Hints of cocoa, cinnamon, and dried herbs add complexity, while balanced acidity ensures a clean, lingering finish. Sourced from the Lopresti Ridgehaven Vineyard at Sellicks Hill, the fruit benefits from red-brown clay loam soils and cooling gully winds, ensuring optimal ripeness and structure. Fermented at cool temperatures to retain vibrant fruit character, the wine was aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels, resulting in a well-rounded and approachable Shiraz.
