The ownership of the three wineries is 100% family owned, and although the foundation is recent, the family has more than 40 years of experience in the production and management of wineries in different denominations of Galician wines.
The winemaking capacity amounts to 1.5 million liters entirely in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, pneumatic presses... We are certified according to the BRC Version 7 standard for food safety management.
The own vineyard in the three denominations of origin amounts to more than 50 hectares , with different varieties, planting frames and management systems, innovating and taking advantage of the secular tradition of vine cultivation in Galicia.
The DO Ribeiro vineyard covers nearly 25 hectares planted mostly with the Treixadura variety for whites and Mencia and Brancellao for reds.
The DO Ribeiro is located within the province of Ourense at the confluence of the valleys formed by the Miño, Avia and Arnoia rivers. The soils vary from the granitic soils of the Avia valley to the clayey ones with schists of the Miño valley and the sedimentary ones of the Arnoia valley. The climate has an Atlantic influence with very hot summers and an altitude that oscillates between 100 and 350 meters above sea level. White wines are mainly made with the Treixadura variety and red wines are mainly blends of native varieties such as Mencia, Brancellao, Sousón and Caiño Tinto.
